Fear and Dread

It is normal to experience fear. The response of flight, fight or freeze protects us from real danger:  dangerous places, dangerous activities and dangerous people. However, when the fear response is elicited by an exaggerated or imagined danger, then the normal protective fear becomes more serious and keeps us from living life to the fullest.

Common fears include fear of

  • Public Speaking
  • Driving
  • Dentists
  • Closed or Open Spaces
  • Flying
  • Heights
  • Water
  • Spiders
  • Snakes
  • Bridges

For those struggling to fulfill a dream,

  • Fear of Success or
  • Fear of Failure may be front and center in the subconscious.

EFT, unlike conventional therapies, is generally very effective for fears, even the most serious and long-standing. Often the fear is eliminated in minutes or, if it is complex, in just a few sessions. We continue our work until you can vividly imagine yourself in the fearful situation without even the tiniest fear response.

By the way, EFT does not eliminate normal and protective fear, only irrational fear, the fear that keeps you from living your dream.
