Why is this program better?
Most weight loss programs fail in the long run because they do not address the key element that controls our lives: our emotions. We all know what we should do. We know we should exercise more and eat healthier foods.
And we think heaping feelings of guilt, shame and self-loathing (and practicing deprivation) will help us lose weight. But do we normally ever take loving care of something we hate? Those negative feelings about our bodies–and by extension, about our precious selves–probably result in yo-yo dieting and, according to statistics, even more weight gain.
